General terms and conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

• By using our matchmaking services, the client acknowledges and confirms they have read and understood all terms and conditions herein including code of conduct and policy located on http://www.catholicaffinitas.com. The client’s continued use of the company’s services constitutes ongoing agreement with these terms.

2. Scope of services

• The company agrees to use its best efforts to introduce the client to suitable candidates from its network. The company provides a certain number of introductions depending on the plan chosen by the client. The company doesn’t guarantee the duration of any relationship, or the outcome of any match. It is up to the client to take this seriously. The company is providing a service, not an outcome.

3. Client representations and warranties

• The client represents and warrants that they are legally single (or legally separated/annulment), truthful and accurate in all information provided to the company and have no criminal history. By signing this document, the client certifies that all information submitted is legit and accurate. The client agrees that the company has the right to conduct a background check at any time to verify this information if needed.

4. Confidentiality and privacy

• All client information is kept strictly confidential. The client agrees that any information shared with them regarding a potential match is also strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party. The client will not misuse or publicly share any information about individuals introduced to them by the company.

5. Limitation of liability and assumption of risk

• The client assumes all risk when using the company’s services, including any online or offline interactions with matches. The client is solely responsible for their interactions and agrees to take necessary precautions when meeting potential matches. The client waives any claim against the company for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including any emotional or physical distress that may arise from using the service.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

• The company makes no guarantees, either express or implied, regarding the compatibility of individuals you meet or the success of any match. The company does not represent or warrant the accuracy of any statement made by a potential match unless the company has actual knowledge of such inaccuracy.

7. Payment and refund policy

• The client agrees to pay the fees outlined in their service agreement/invoice. All payments are non-refundable (unless we are unable to present matches). The service fee covers the company’s efforts and is not dependent on the outcome of any match.

8. Client conduct

• The client agrees to act in a respectful and honest manner when interacting with potential matches and company staff. The company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the client’s services immediately for any behavior deemed unreasonable, harassing, illegal, or in violation of this agreement.

9. Legal

• Client agrees to in good faith to not release any material that impacts Catholic Affinitas policy and/or reputation. By using our services, you waive the right to bring any claims, legal actions, or suits against the company including but not limited to its affiliates, trustees, members, officers, volunteers, agents, partners and employees.
