Make the Most of Your Single Season
While you are putting yourself out there, dating, looking for your future spouse, don’t forget to also make the most of your single season by taking care of yourself and preparing for marriage.
Prayer
Do not tire of deepening your relationship with God. The Bible instructs us to rejoice always and pray without ceasing. Let God direct your steps.
Recreation
Do the things that bring you joy, pick up a hobby, learn a new skills, be joyful!
Purpose
We are all born with a special gift that makes us unique. Take some time to explore and find what your purpose is.
Healing
If you have past hurts and wounds that you have been wrestling with. Now is the time to work on these things. You don’t need to be fully healed before you find your spouse but you need to be actively working on it.
Improve
Nobody is perfect, but as Christians we want to be more Christ like. Identify the areas of your life that need to be improved and work on them.
Community
Find new friends, build a community of people who share the same values and with whom you can spend time with. We are social beings, don’t live an isolated life.
