We are excited to welcome you to our events for fellowship, friendship, and potential romantic connections grounded in faith. To ensure a positive and respectful experience for everyone, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct.
I. Respect and Consideration:
- Treat everyone with kindness and respect. This includes their personal space, beliefs, and background. Refrain from judgmental language, offensive jokes, or any form of discrimination based on race, gender, age, denomination, or any other personal characteristic.
- Be mindful of conversations. Engage in respectful dialogue and be considerate of others who may want to join or have different perspectives. Avoid dominating conversations or discussing overly personal or controversial topics prematurely.
- Practice active listening. Show genuine interest in others by paying attention, asking thoughtful questions, and responding respectfully.
- Respect personal boundaries. Pay attention to verbal and non-verbal cues. If someone seems uncomfortable, politely disengage. Do not pressure others for personal information, contact details, or romantic involvement.
- Be punctual for scheduled activities. This shows respect for the organizers and fellow attendees.
II. Faith-Based Principles:
- Uphold Christian values. Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects the love, grace, and integrity of Jesus Christ.
- Refrain from inappropriate behavior. This includes excessive alcohol consumption, public displays of affection beyond polite interaction, and any actions that could be construed as sexually suggestive or harassing.
- Respect differing denominational beliefs. While we share a core Christian faith, acknowledge and respect the diversity within the faith. Avoid engaging in divisive theological debates.
- Focus on genuine connection. While the possibility of romantic relationships exists
III. Event Participation:
- Actively participate in activities. Engage in the planned events with an open heart and a willingness to connect with others.
- Be responsible for your belongings. The organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Follow the instructions of event organizers and volunteers. Their guidance is in place to ensure the smooth running and safety of the event.
- Be mindful of the venue. Treat the event space with respect and help keep it clean and tidy.
IV. Communication and Follow-Up:-Based Principles:
- Respect privacy. Do not share personal information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, social media handles) of other attendees without their explicit consent.
- Be mindful of follow-up communication. If you exchange contact information, communicate respectfully and at an appropriate frequency. If someone is not reciprocating interest, respect their decision.
- Report any concerns. If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct or makes you feel uncomfortable, please discreetly inform an event organizer or volunteer immediately. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and addressed appropriately.
V. Consequences of Violations:
- Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in a verbal warning from event organizers.
- In cases of serious or repeated violations, the organizers reserve the right to ask the individual to leave the event without a refund.
- The safety and well-being of all attendees are our priority.
By attending our events, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. We trust that your participation will contribute to a positive and enriching experience for everyone.

Policy
Catholic Affinitas is committed to providing a safe environment for its attendees. For all events hosted by Catholic Affinitas all attendees are obligated to use their legal first and last names. The use of aliases is not permitted. Attendees must also refrain from conduct that is inconsistent with Catholic Affinitas’ code of conduct, including but not limited to interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event; using foul, derogatory, or abusive language or gestures; appearing to be in a drunken or diminished capacity; or possessing weapons or other dangerous items. Violators may be subject to ejection and possible referral to law enforcement.
All attendees shall indemnify and hold Catholic Affinitas and its affiliates, trustees, Officers, members, volunteers, agents, and employees harmless from any liability of loss, including but not limited to attorney fees and litigation costs, based or asserted upon any act or omission for property damage, bodily injury, death or any other element of damage of any kind or nature relating to or otherwise connected with, or arising in whole or in part from, the event attendance.
Attendees also agree to in good faith not release any material that impacts Catholic Afinitas policy and/or reputation.
By registering and/or attending our events, you waive the right to bring any claims, legal actions, or suits against Catholic Affinitas (Bernanore LLC) including but not limited to its affiliates, trustees, members, officers, volunteers, agents, partners and employees.
